Hydration is More Than Just Drinking Water
#1
“Your gut is an important part of the hydration cycle. The question is, how do you move water from the intestinal lining into your bloodstream and, more importantly, into your cells? As noted by Bush, when we talk about hydration, we're not simply talking about drinking enough water throughout the day but, more specifically, getting water inside your cells.“

i quickly flipped through. will read more thorough later. i did see electrolytes and fiber play a roll.
because i weigh out all of my meals and calorie/macro count. i get on average about 75-85 grams of fiber a day.
i wonder where natural sources of electrolytes can come from?? when i'm weight training, i drink 25 ounces of coconut water. has great natural levels of sodium, potassium & magnesium

Juice some celery, apple and lemon together...it hits almost all electrolytes. Oddly lemon is one of the highest forms of natural electrolytes.....mix in some chia seeds and that adds omega 3, fiber and protein. You can add kale, spirullina or your chlorophyll to it and hit pretty much all the notes but if you just were limited the celery and lemon would get you pretty close.

i'll try that. didn't know that about lemons. i go through about 10 lemons a week. they help make high ph water so i used to squeeze a couple lemons per day in my camelbak... recently i bought some Ph drops and chlorophyll drops. the lemons have been on hold for the past week.  Smile
